Volume 4 1800-1850
These six little pieces are taken from David Watkins' Complete Method for the Harp as they form a suite in their own right. Conceived for the harp, they require the use of two and three fingers only. However, they also sound very effective on the piano, and beginners will find them a welcome addition to the repertoire. These pieces are graded from easy to medium difficulty. A performance note, including details on tuning the various harps, is on pages 11 and 12.
A collection of four folk songs, arranged for solo voice and intermediate pedal harp. The harp part includes harmonics, full chords, and arpeggio figures; the elegant parts never overpower the vocal line, but rather serve to compliment the simple beauty of these timeless folk songs.
