Entrada |
1 Available |
The word "entrada" means an expedition or journey into unexplored territory. This composition is a musical exploration into happy, uplifting and joyful emotions. Like "Gloria! it is a processional, a royal celebration, an exaltation. It is perfect for weddings, special service music, or any occasion that evokes a joyful spirit. The piece opens with a grand glissando and continues its merry themes all the way to the end. This one is very exciting and lots of fun to play! |

Isle of Nevis |

Composer Frank Voltz writes of the inspiration behind this work: "Nevis is an island in the Caribbean Sea. It is a mixture of rainforests, hot bubbling spring, and volcanic activity. Its sandy beaches are composed of a mixture of snow-white coral sand with brown and black sand which has washed down from the volcanic rock. The gorgeous coastline, lush vegetation, and mountainous terrain are breathtaking - and all within a single view. The mood of this piece is languid and mysterious, yet sweet and inviting (like the island itself)." |
