The BURGUNDY brand of pedal and lever gut strings have gone through exactly the same manufacturing process as Bow Brand standard pedal gut but have been put aside purely on aesthetic grounds (i.e. there may be tiny particles of dust trapped within the string which does not affect the sound or longevity at all).

The BURGUNDY is ideal for harp students as it gives them the opportunity to use natural gut at an affordable price.
