An arrangement for two harps by John Escosa.
The Japanese word "sakura" refers to ornamental cherry blossom trees and their blossoms. This lovely duet for two harps is an arrangement of a traditional Japanese song that makes ample use of the harp's ability to play in a manner similar to Japanese plucked string instruments. The harp parts utilize techniques such as harmonics, fingernail plucking, whistling sounds, and various types of glissandos playing with the nails. Both harp parts are suitable for an intermediate or advanced level pedal harpist.
This edition includes two scores (one for each harpist). Each part is three pages long.
