String for all pedal harps. Pirastro gut offers the harpist the finest handcrafted gut string available. Strings are made of only the purest material from a select breed of sheep, not from cow gut as with most natural strings. This oiled string has no hard lacquer coating, so unlike most cow gut strings, the harpist's fingers will not "squeak" on the strings, and the resonance from this uncoated string has no equal.

Since these strings do not have a lacquer coating, they are softer than other gut harp strings. For longest life, you should use the Pirastro String Oil when using these strings on your harp.
