This arrangement of G.F. Handel's "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" from the oratorio Solomon HWV 67 is great for the intermediate pedal or lever harpist. The sixteenth-note melody of this piece is accentuated by an eight-note pattern in the bass. 2 pages, lever changes are marked.

Classical trio or duo for harp and one or two treble instruments
A very useful arrangement of this famous classical piece by Handel done by Holly Avesian. Harpist would need to be at an intermediate level with a strong developing technique. There are several 16th note passages for the right hand and the piece is commonly played at about quarter note =88. The piece is scored for flute, violin and harp, but the violin line is always an accompaniment to the flute, so it would be entirely possible to play the piece as is with just harp and flute or harp with one other C treble instrument ( violin, oboe. etc.) The trio could also be done with several different combinations of treble instruments: two violins, flute and oboe, two flutes, etc. Pedal changes are marked and are not difficult and not numerous. Harp part is in score format with other parts printed above. Parts for the other instruments are included on separate pages. 7 pages.

Ash Grove (The)
A series of variations by harpist John Thomas on the popular Welsh air "Llwyn Onn" (The Ash Grove). This arrangement is suitable for the intermediate-advanced pedal harpist. This lovely piece is sure to come in handy as a source of background music (people are always happy to hear this familiar tune) or as a recital solo to broaden the scope of a classical pedal harp recital. John Thomas (1826-1913) was a Welsh harpist and composer who began by playing the triple harp and eventually studied the classical pedal harp at the Royal School of Music in London. In 1872 he was named harpist to Queen Victoria.

Trio for lever or pedal harps
Lovely and contemplative trio in D minor. Harp I part has extended passages in sixteenth notes at a moderato tempo with hands doubled an octave apart. Harp three plays on off beat rhythm for much ot the piece. Both harp I and II have the melody at some point. All three players would need to have a good sense of rhythm as there are many dotted rhythms and passages that start on the off beat. This should be a great piece for learning ensemble skills, counting and subdividing together. No lever or pedal changes. Beautifully printed, full score and three separate harp parts included.
