A beautifully textured meditation. Franz Liszt was a deeply religious man, and his spiritual passion is evident in this lovely piece. The texture of the piece is mostly simple arpeggios flowing up from left hand to right hand. Could be useful for performance in worship settings. Written at the advanced intermediate level for pedal harp. Full title: Postlude #12 from Harmonies Poetiques et Religieuses. Includes the text of the Lamartine poem that inspired the work: Blessing of God in Solitude in French and English. Transcribed from the piano version by Dominique Piana. 8 pages.
