"En Priere," composed in 1890 by French composer Gabriel Fauré, is a lovely French song originally intended for church performance. The accompaniment part of this song is almost entirely arpeggios, making it uniquely suited for the harpist. The vocal line falls beautifully into the soprano range of the flute.
