The FH36S has what we feel is the ideal range for a full-size lever harp: five octaves, starting and ending on C. It surrounds the player with a round, full-bodied, and well articulated sound, and its generous depth, power, and responsiveness make playing seem effortless. An impressive piece of fine woodworking and a satisfying investment for any harp enthusiast.
The sides and back of the soundbox consist of five facets of book-matched wood. This design puts a flat facet, rather than a corner, against the player’s shoulder, which some find more comfortable and which makes it easier to reach the lower strings. This soundbox shape gives an overall rounder sound, with a slightly fuller bass voice. We occasionally stock the FH36B box-back version of this instrument.
The FH36 comes with a deluxe, thickly padded, form-fitting CH36B case made with 1/2-inch thick foam sandwiched between a soft inner lining and a tough outer covering of waterproofed cordura. Case includes zipper access, large accessory pocket, long-lasting leather trim and handles, extra grips for easy handling, and detachable shoulder strap.

| 1. Purchasing an FH36 we have in stock |
As of 8:30 this morning, we had the following FH36s in stock. Click "Add to Basket" to add one of these harps to your on-line shopping cart. You will then be able to go to our on-line accessory store where you can purchase additional items like a bench, tuner, harp cart or sheet music. FH36s are shipped via UPS from our Salem, Massachusetts location; freight charges range from $95.00 to $245.00 depending on where you live. We will contact you with a specific shipping estimate before we ship your harp.

| 2. Reserving a new FH36 we have on order |
| If one of our in-stock FH36s does not meet your needs, you may reserve one of the new FH36s we currently have on order with Dusty Strings. A 10% deposit will hold the harp for you. We will contact you when your harp is ready at the factory; the balance will be due when the harp is shipped. |

| 3. Ordering a custom FH36 |
| You also may order a custom FH36 in any hardwood, or with Dusty's factory-installed pickup system. A 20% deposit is required on all special orders. We will contact you when your harp is ready; the balance will be due when your harp is shipped. Your deposit will not be refundable once the factory has begun working on your harp. Please call us about other options not listed, including black lacquer finish, pillar inlays, soundboard veneer or soundboard trim. |

Your FH36 is shipped with a Dusty Strings tuning key and deluxe padded case. If you are just starting the harp, you may also want to purchase a tuner, a bench, or other harp accessory:

The Harp Connection offers a 30-day return policy on harps purchased from our store (except special orders). To be eligible for return, the harp must be in the same condition as when we shipped it to you and it must be returned with all accessories such as tuning keys and books.
