Style 2000 GP 44-String Grand-Petite Pedal Harp
|
This superb 44-string gig harp has an extended soundboard plus a pickup on every string. The Lyon & Healy 2000 series merges the finest qualities of the acoustic model with the latest technological advances to create an instrument of dynamic range and clarity. Featuring the most sophisticated pickup system designed for any harp to date, the Lyon & Healy Electric Harp allows you to utilize every electronic device currently available to musicians. Each string is sensed separately using low profile RMC string sensors, then high-performance Stereo Active Electronics mix and preamplify the separate string signals together to produce a stereo output.
The amplified sound is a true reproduction of the string vibrations, making it musically expressive to both the player and listener. Each string has a specific location on the stereo panorama, producing "moving stereo sound" when the harp is amplified or recorded in stereo. This allows adjustment of the balance between the top and bottom strings in a mono setup.
Shown in Walnut; our harp is in Mahogany. It is a new Lyon & Healy instrument that comes with a 3-year factory warranty. We also have a Style 2000 SG (Semi-Grand) available for sale and a Style 2000 CG (Concert-Grand) can be ordered from the factory.
